Income Tax Return Checklist for Individuals

We want to make your tax return experience as convenient and hassle free as possible, and to ensure that you get the maximum refund.

To assist in this process, it’s important to be prepared with some items of information, which we’ve outlined in our tax return checklist.

Reading through this list may even help jog your memory about some work-related expenses or other tax deductible items that you may otherwise have overlooked.

Please review our tax return checklist to determine which information may be applicable for your tax return this year. Information relating to payment summaries (from employers or Centrelink) and income from banks and financial institutions can often be accessed by Australia Wide Tax Solutions via the Australian Tax Office Portal.

However this information is not always complete and up-to-date (especially in July and August), so it’s always best to have original documents to cross-check where possible.

Receiving your tax back hasn’t been easier, fill out the answer, send it back to us, or come in with all the information and have a consult with us especially if you are first time client. Let us assist you in getting your tax back as soon as possible.
